Nash Aguas is now a businessman. He recently opened a Japanese restaurant called Muramen at the University Belt. He partnered with former Goin’ Bulilit co-star Carl Barrameda for his first business venture. The teen actor could not hide his elation at the soft opening of Muramen on Friday, July 28, 2017.

Nash said, “One year in the making [‘to], pinag-uusapan lang namin (pertaining to Carl) ‘to last year and hindi ako makapaniwala na ngayon opening day na namin. Pressured and at the same time excited.”

The teen actor relayed that he is a big Japanese food fan himself and for that reason he decided to own his very own restaurant. “Kaya namin naisip na ito ‘yung i-business kasi ako since bata ramen fan talaga ako, so Japanese food fan, gyoza, beef gyudon, tonkatsu, karaage so hindi kami papayag na siyempre hindi masarap product namin kasi kaming dalawa Japanese food lovers kami,” the young actor said.


Meanwhile, Carl narrated how he ended up forming a business partnership with Nash. Carl shared that after their respective stints on Goin’ Bulilit, their paths crossed again on the teen sitcom Luv U.

“Actually matagal kaming hindi nagkita nito at hindi rin kami masyadong close nong bata pa kami kasi siyempre malaki ‘yung (age) gap naming dalawa so nong nag-start na akong mag-direct sa ABS so nagkaroon sa Luv U, nagkaroon ng TV show, nagkaroon ng chance na don ako mapunta, so nagkaroon ng chance na maging close kami,” Carl explained.

When it comes to handling the business and the finances, Nash shared that their parents guide them but also give them the liberty to decide.

“Both of us ‘yung parents namin hands-on din naman and sila ‘yung laging nandiyan para gabayan kami and ang importanteng sinasabi nila ay parang hinahayaan nila kami para matuto kami. Kumbaga hindi lang siya business, kumbaga it’s also a learning experience,” Nash shared.
